Lamborghini Sets Record Sales in 2023: A Milestone Achievement


Italian luxury sports car manufacturer Lamborghini has achieved a historic milestone in its illustrious history by recording unprecedented sales in the year 2023. Breaking new ground, the company marked its first-ever sale of over 10,000 cars in a single calendar year, establishing a record that is sure to be remembered in automotive history.

Record-Breaking Sales:

In the fiscal year 2023, Lamborghini made history by selling a remarkable 10,112 units, creating a record and achieving a notable 10% growth over the previous year. Celebrating its 60th anniversary, the Italian brand set the bar high and demonstrated its continued appeal to enthusiasts worldwide.

Regional Breakdown:

Lamborghini’s success was widespread, with the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region leading the charge by selling 3,987 units. The company also experienced substantial growth in the EMEA region, with a remarkable 14% increase. In North America, Lamborghini sold 3,465 units, while the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region contributed 2,660 units to the impressive overall sales figure.

Top Markets:

The United States emerged as the top market for Lamborghini, with 3,087 units delivered. Other leading markets include Germany (961 units), China (845 units), the United Kingdom (801 units), Japan (660 units), and the Middle East (496 units). Lamborghini also made a significant impact in India, selling 103 units, showcasing its global reach.

Record Volume for Lamborghini in 2023:

The Lamborghini Urus model stole the spotlight, accounting for the majority of sales with 6,087 units. Following closely was the Huracán with 3,962 units, and the V12 lineup, including 63 cars delivered. Among these, 12 were Aventadors, while the rest comprised various other models.

Innovation and Future Ventures:

In 2023, Lamborghini introduced the Reverto, its first V12 high-performance electrified vehicle (HPEV) hybrid super sports car. Orders for this groundbreaking model are expected until 2026. Furthermore, Lamborghini unveiled a concept car, showcasing its commitment to innovation. In 2024, the company will participate in the World Endurance Championship (FIA WEC) and the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship (IMSA) with the SCV63, a Lamborghini LMDh racing car.
