Dell Unveils New XPS 13, 14, and 16 Laptops with Impressive Features

Dell has recently announced its latest lineup of XPS laptops, introducing the XPS 13, 14, and 16 models. These cutting-edge devices are equipped with Intel Core Ultra processors, and the 14 and 16 models offer optional Nvidia GeForce RTX GPU upgrades.

XPS 13 (9340) – Compact Powerhouse:

The XPS 13 model, known as the 9340, boasts a 13.4-inch OLED display with a maximum resolution of 2880×1800 pixels. Powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 165H processor, this laptop supports Wi-Fi 7, though this feature is not yet fully supported by Windows.

Dell anticipates Wi-Fi 7 functionality to be available with the 24H1 update in April. Additionally, the XPS 13 supports up to a 2TB SSD, with plans to introduce support for 4TB SSDs in the future.

XPS 14 (9440) – Performance with Graphics Options:

Dell’s first 14-inch XPS laptop, the 9440, offers similar specifications to the XPS 13, featuring a Core Ultra 7 165H processor. However, it stands out with the option to integrate a dedicated graphics card, such as the RTX 4050 with 8GB of GDDR6. With up to 64GB of RAM and a maximum 4TB SSD, this model provides robust performance. Unlike its counterparts, the XPS 14 does not include Wi-Fi 7 support.

XPS 16 (9640) – The Ultimate Replacement:

Positioned as a replacement for both the 15-inch and 17-inch models, the XPS 16 (9640) offers a superior Intel Core Ultra 9 185H CPU and a high-resolution 3840×2400 pixel display. Consumers can opt for a powerful GeForce RTX 4070 GPU, making this laptop a top-tier choice for users seeking high-performance capabilities.

Innovative Features:

All three XPS models feature a unique haptic, borderless touchpad, replacing the traditional visible touchpad. Additionally, a Copilot key is integrated into the keyboard, as announced by Microsoft for many Windows 11 laptops. Notably, the XPS 13 Plus model from 2022 will not make a return, but users can choose to add a touch bar to the new models.
